This Project is Complete

Project Background:

The effluent transfer pumps are an integral part of the wastewater treatment process.  These pumps are used to pump reclaimed water to either above ground storage tanks or to a reclaimed water storage pond at the Eastside Water Reclama􀆟on Facility (EWRF) property.  The existing pumps, check valves and auxiliary equipment have exhausted their useful life. This project consists of replacing all of the associated equipment and the addition of a fourth pump. This project will increase capacity of the transfer pump station to allow the estimated peak flow to be transferred to the storage facilities.

Project Benefits:

The new effluent transfer pump improvements will ensure that the treatment plant can function at low flow conditions as well as at high flow conditions for the next 20 year planning
horizon. These improvements will enhance operational flexibility and meet future flow demands.
