Home MenuPublic Information
Keeping the public informed is one of the City of Venice's highest priorities. There are several ways in which the city endeavors to communicate with its citizens:
Venice City E-News is a digital newsletter published monthly. It is emailed directly to anyone who provides their first and last name and email address. To be included on the email group list, send the request to Public Information Officer Lorraine Anderson at landerson@venicefl.gov.
Follow the City's Facebook page, a terrific, real-time resource for information, updates, projects and events that is updated daily. Please check it out and Like and Follow us. The City also has a Twitter account, @CityofVeniceFL and Instagram, @cityofveniceflorida.
Scroll to the bottom of this website's homepage for the latest News and Events in the City.
Email announcements regarding street closures, other traffic or construction concerns, police and fire incidents, events and other matters of public interest are sent out each week. To be included on the email group list, send the request to landerson@venicefl.gov.
The City publishes an annual calendar that contains dates of City Council and advisory board meetings, special events, and other information regarding City services. It is available for free at Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave. prior to Christmas each year, while supplies last.
Media needing information may contact the Public Information Office. All public records requests for the City of Venice can be expedited by making them online.
