Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park is also a part of the former Venice Army Air Base. It was developed around 1949, with 186 lots. The facility is located less than a mile from the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.

Revenues from the lot rents go to the Airport Enterprise Fund to serve to provide funding for the operation and maintenance the Venice Municipal Airport.

The mobile home park has a recreation hall, a laundromat with an outdoor drying area and shuffleboard courts.

 The following services are offered to each lot and billed separately: Water and Sewer, Cable Television, Electricity,
Telephone, Solid Waste/Recycling, and Stormwater Fees.

Tenants of the Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park must be 55 years or older. Age verification is required at the signing of the lot lease agreement. New tenants must apply for a lot lease agreement, which includes a credit and criminal background prior to signing the final documents for ownership of a mobile home.

Residents are members of the Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park Homeowners Association, which provides assistance with the maintenance of the park.
