The Human Resources Department plays a critical role in providing services to the City of Venice.  HR responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, labor relations and negotiations as well as compensation, employee benefits, insurances and wellness programs. 

The Human Resources Department also manages the city’s risk management program, covering workers' compensation and administration of the City's general liability/property insurance coverage.
