The City of Venice Utilities Department provides high-quality drinking water to approximately 13,000 connections and services over 25,000 customers.

Field Operations
Distribution and collection crews are responsible for the repair and maintenance of more than 398 miles of underground water, sewer, and reuse mains.
Technical Unit
The Technical Unit is responsible for meter reading, backflows, locates and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
Water Production
Utilizing reverse osmosis treatment, the city’s water plant produces an annual average daily flow of 2.3 million gallons of potable water. Water Reclamation
Wastewater is treated and disinfected then piped to neighborhoods and golf courses and used for irrigation. The city plans to expand its reclaimed water system over the next decade to provide service to all homeowners in the city.
