A Community Workshop on the Venice Multi-Modal Transportation Master Plan will be held 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 in Community Hall at City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave.
The Multi-Modal Transportation Master Plan aims to improve and strengthen the City’s transportation network for all modes of travel. This plan builds on previous local, regional, and state planning efforts and initiatives for transportation and land use. The plan will outline specific transportation improvements within the City and will prioritize local streets for future multi-modal facilities and improvements.
A storymap available online here will be live throughout the project and continuously updated as analysis and recommendations become available. Summaries from community engagement and materials will also be uploaded to the storymap.
Additionally, community members are encouraged to take a survey about the master plan here to help determine where multi-modal improvements are needed in the City and how and where these improvements should be prioritized. The survey will run through the end of September/early October.
The project is anticipated to wrap up in early 2025.
