Event: Walking Tour of Venice's Historic Edgewood District

Event Details: REGISTRATION REQUIRED with suggested $20 donation. The Venice Area Historical Society, the City of Venice Historical Resources Division and the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation invite you to join us on a leisurely tour of three blocks within John Nolen's Edgewood National Historic District in Venice. Tours will leave every twenty minutes starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024. The last tour will leave at 2:00 pm. Volunteers and Board Members will be your guides and tour leaders. You must pre-register for a time slot for your tour. Each tour is limited to 15 people. The public is welcome for a donation of $20. Members of the VAHS and SAHP will be admitted for $15. Residents of Edgewood are encouraged to come as well for a fee of $10.
