In honor of Earth Day, the City Arborist and Arboretum volunteers will provide information about trees (including a tree giveaway), butterfly gardens, composting, and rain barrels from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 22 at the Monty Andrews Arboretum in West Blalock Park. Free; open to the public.

There also will be children's activities, including a Tinkergarten and nature scavenger hunt.

Arboretum tours will be held at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. The City Arborist will be on hand to answer your tree questions.
