1st Saturday in December. Starting signal is at 6 p.m.
Christmas in Venice -- the lights, the palm trees, the waterways. Celebrate the holiday season by decorating your boat & joining in the fun! There is no better way to start the Christmas season than by participating in the Venice Christmas Boat Parade.
Boats can be viewed from the Intracoastal Waterway, starting above the Albee Farm Bridge, heading south, with turnaround before the Circus Bridge. Other popular viewing areas are on both sides of the Jetties and at the Historic Train Depot. Remember to get there early. If you are new to the area, take a look a few days before the parade for that special spot, there are no bad locations.
Remember for Venice Island when the 2 north bridges go up, the Circus Bridge remains down for VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ONLY. This remains in effect until such time that the 2 north bridges are reopened to vehicular traffic.
For an application to enter the parade, route map, and other details, visit the event website.
