The OneBlood Big Red Bus will once again be at Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave., on Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for blood donations. A second bus will be available for platelet donations.

OneBlood officials encourage all members of the public who feel well to come out and donate the “gift of life” aboard the Big Red Bus to ensure that blood is available for those patients who need it. Note: It must be 56 days since your last whole blood donation. ID required.

All donors will receive a free $20 eGift Card and OneBlood Hero Beach Towel, along with a wellness checkup including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening, and a snack. Be a summertime hero!
