The Venice City Council will hold a public workshop at 5 p.m. Monday, June 6 on the City’s Land Development Regulations (LDR) draft plan. It will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave.
This workshop is an opportunity for citizens to voice any concerns or comments regarding the draft LDR plan, subject to review and eventual adoption by the City Council.

The workshop will also be simultaneously broadcast live on the City’s website at https://venice.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx and through Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85374749333. Audio of the workshop can be listened to by dialing 1-929-205-6099 and entering meeting ID # 853 7474 9333.
All interested persons are invited to participate and be heard.
Public comment may be provided as follows:
(1) in person;
(2) via e-mail at mbarcia@venicefl.gov;
(3) by regular mail to the City Clerk, 401 W. Venice Ave., Venice, FL 34285; or
(4) remotely during public comment for this workshop utilizing the online “Request to Speak” form that can be found at https://venicefl.formstack.com/forms/requesttospeak and which must be completed and submitted prior to the start of the workshop. City residents who are out of town can still participate by utilizing this online speaker form.
Written comments received by June 6, 2022, at 3 p.m. will be distributed to Council members and included in the public record.
