Venice Book Fair and Writers Festival is a unique event, featuring writing and publishing workshops Friday at the William H. Jervey Jr. Venice Public Library and a special day, Saturday, when local and national authors sell and sign books at a festival market in West Blalock Park. This event is put on by Venice Heritage Inc., a 501c3 organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Florida communities of Venice, Osprey, Laurel, and Nokomis.
This event is open to the public. The Writer's Festival costs $20 per person and limited space. The Book Fair has free admission. For more information click here
