Please consider donating blood at a rescheduled OneBlood drive on Monday, July 12 outside Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A drive originally scheduled for July 7 was canceled due to Tropical Storm Elsa. OneBlood is struggling to collect enough blood due to an increased need at area hospitals, and could really use your help!
OneBlood encourages all City employees and the general public to come out and donate the “gift of life” aboard the Big Red Bus if they feel well and are eligible.
Note: It must be 56 days since your last whole blood donation.
Donating blood is safe. COVID-19 does not pose any known risk to blood donors during the donation process or from attending blood drives.
Each donor will receive a free OneBlood patriotic T-shirt and $20 eGift Card, along with a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening, and a snack.
ID required please.
To make an appointment for Monday, please visit www.oneblood.org/donate-now and use sponsor code #9354.
