Gary Mormino, Professor Emeritus of History and co-founder of Florida Studies Dept. at USF, St. Petersburg, and author of many books including Land of Sunshine, State of Dreams: A Social History of Modern Florida, will give a lecture about the heroes of Florida's Civil Rights Movement. In 2003, the Florida Humanities Council named him its first Humanist of the Year
