A City of Venice Land Development Regulations (LDR) Update Overview will be held for the City Planning Commission starting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Venice City Hall (Community Hall), 401 W. Venice Ave. This workshop is open to the public.

The LDR, which is often referred to as zoning code, establishes development standards to implement the community vision/Comprehensive Plan for Venice’s built environment and to incorporate modern best practices.

This workshop will cover the key concepts, implementation, and zoning district standards for the Mixed Use Districts identified in the 2017 Comprehensive Plan: Mixed Use Downtown (MUD), Mixed Use Seaboard (MUS), and the Mixed Use Corridors (MUCs). 

This workshop will be open to the public and will include opportunities for public comment throughout.
