A City of Venice Land Development Regulations (LDR) Update Overview will be held for the City Planning Commission from 1:30-4 p.m. Oct. 29 at Venice City Hall (Community Hall), 401 W. Venice Ave. This workshop is open to the public.

The LDR, which is often referred to as zoning code, establishes development standards to implement the community vision/Comprehensive Plan for Venice’s built environment and to incorporate modern best practices.

The primary focus of this workshop will be to provide an overview on key concepts of the City LDR Update, with a review of the general contents. Specific topics of note include parking regulations, street signs and use definitions.
