The annual Veterans Day observance and ceremony will be held at Patriots Park in Venice, just off U.S. 41 south of Roberts Bay on the east side of 41, on Monday, Nov. 11. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and is sponsored this year by Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post  8118. All veterans organizations in the Venice area are invited to participate. The public is invited; please bring chairs.
