The Land Development Regulations (LDR), which is often referred to as zoning code, establishes development standards to implement the community vision/Comprehensive Plan for Venice’s built environment and to incorporate modern best practices. The focus of this workshop will be to provide an educational workshop to the City Council.
The workshop will provide an overview on key concepts of the form-based code aspect of the LDR for the Mixed Use areas of the City, with primary discussion of the Downtown Mixed Use area including topics: Permitted Uses, Building Heights, Building Frontages, Street Types, and other development standards.
It is open to the public.
The workshop will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. - noon at Venice City Hall (Community Hall)
