The Venice Museum & Archives 2019 Hallway Exhibit, titled “West Venice Avenue: A Walk Down Venice’s Historic Main Street,” will feature 13 photos of downtown Venice’s West Venice Avenue, from the initial building of the roadway to the present ongoing improvements with the 2018-2019 Downtown Beautification Project. The exhibit runs from Jan. 22, 2019, through Jan. 15, 2020.

As you walk down the hallway, notice the changes to the landscaping, storefronts, parks and scenery to Venice’s iconic main drag throughout the decades. 

The Venice Museum is located at 351 Nassau St. S. on the island of Venice. It is near the Venice Community Center and the newly opened Venice Library. The VMA is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. the 1^st and 3^rd Saturdays of the month, October through April. For more information, call 941-486-2487.
