The Venice Police Department’s 1st annual "Lock it or Leave it" event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7. Citizens are welcome to safely dispose of unwanted firearms at the police station from 9 a.m.– noon.
Officers will accept firearms for destruction during this time. Not sure if the firearm is unloaded? Leave it in your vehicle, and a firearms expert will assist you.
