An opening reception for the new exhibit at the Venice Museum & Archives, "Snook Haven: The History of Movies, Mischief, and Music on the Myakka," will be held 4-7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Museum. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door, and include appetizers, two drinks and live music. Tickets are limited.
