The new exhibit at the Venice Museum & Archives: “Snook Haven: The History of Movies, Mischief, and Music on the Myakka,” opens Oct. 8.

The VMA, located near the Venice Community Center and the new Venice library, is open free to the public year-round on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first and third Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from October through April.
