The Venice-Nokomis Woman's Club has been serving Venice for over 90 years and is opening an exhibit at the Venice Museum on March 12th!
The VMA is celebrating this iconic social club by highlighting its acheivments in the Venice Community. The VMA's next temporary exhibit entitled, Venice-Nokomis Woman’s Club: Over 90 Years Serving the Community, will travel through the club’s history from its first meeting in 1926 to its continued community fundraising and impact today.
The exhibit is the latest temporary exhibit at the VMA. It is scheduled to run from March 12th to the end of July, 2018. Come see for yourself and learn what famous Venice resident started the club and how the club’s foresight was used to start one of Venice’s most celebrated resources: its library!
The VMA is open free to the public year-round on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm and the first and third Saturdays from 11am to 3pm from October through April.
