Administrative Services Commander Dave Smolenski

Commander Dave Smolenski is a 25-year law enforcement officer.  He began his career in his hometown of Deptford, New Jersey in 1994 as an officer for the Deptford Township Police Department. In 1998, he left the Deptford Township Police Department to join the ranks of the New Jersey State Police. 

Dave retired from the New Jersey State Police after 20 years of service.  While in the State Police, he took on a multitude of assignments and roles, including Road Trooper, Criminal Investigations Office, Camden City High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Unit, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Philadelphia-Camden Task Force, and State Police Evidence Management Unit. 

Dave has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He is currently assigned as the Administrative Services Commander.
