School Resource Officer Program
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The School Resource Officer (SRO) program is not just about "cops" on campus. School Resource Officers perform all law enforcement duties on campus and educate students by teaching law related classes and other related subjects in the classrooms.

The intent of the program is to bridge the gap between juveniles and law enforcement by promoting positive experiences between students and school resource officers and, as a result, help to prevent juvenile crime.
