Keeping the public informed is one of the city’s highest priorities. There are several ways in which the city endeavors to communicate with its citizens:
Venice City E-News is an electronic newsletter published monthly. It is available on this website under "resident," or may be e-mailed to anyone who provides an e-mail address. To be included on the e-mail group list, send the request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The city publishes an annual calendar, which contains dates of meetings and special events, as well as other information regarding city services. It is available at Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave. while supplies last.
And, of course, the city’s official website: www.venicegov.com.
E-mail announcements regarding street closures and other traffic or construction concerns in the city are made from time to time. To be included on the e-mail group list, send the request to email@example.com.
City staff members, including the public information officer, are available for public speaking.
